Being a Falcon
Being a Falcon requires a great deal of commitment as our members are expected to turn up to every practise without fail. We expect a high level of team work from our members, as well as a willingness to try new things. Cheerleading is all about progression and breaking down barriers, which is why another value we look for in our members is trust. The team must be able to trust each other to be able to achieve the stunts we do, otherwise there is a danger of members getting injured. We also require competition teams to be available for extra practise before a competition.
Swansea Falcons welcome members of any ability, so if you have never been a cheerleader before do not worry, we are able train you to a championship level!
Fees
For the 2010-2011 season, fees will be £20 a month. This fee is due on the first Sunday of every month. We spread this out equally over the year based on the expenses it needs to cover. Therefore, if a month has a Bank Holiday where there is one less practise, the fee is still the same for ease of payment. Those with more than one child in the squad receive a £3 discount for their second child.
