Swansea's allstar squad, the Swansea Falcons...

Swansea Falcons are a dynamic cheerleading program, based in Swansea, South Wales. Founded in January 2008, the Falcons are the first of their kind in Swansea; coaching members aged 8+ for their various teams. The Swansea Falcons program gives members the opportunity to compete at regional and national level, whilst building important life skills.

Cheerleading is a very demanding activity combining dance, gymnastics and stunts. It promotes fitness, exercise and most importantly, team work. Being physically fit is important when being a cheerleader, many members are already fit when they join, whilst other have found it a great place to start in their pursuit for fitness. The program values team work in its members as a great deal of trust is required to make a team reach its potential. Not only do we rely on it whilst performing our routines, we also use it when raising funds and promoting the squad.

The program also prides itself on having members who are a credit to themselves and their families. Far too often in today’s society do we hear bad things about the youth of today and the Falcons are determined to show that this is not the case. Each of our members has to adopt a very mature attitude to be able to succeed within the squad. We require a great deal of commitment, determination and a hard work ethic, as we want to be the best we can be.

Swansea Falcons are currently recruiting those from the Swansea/South West Wales area; everyone is welcome from complete beginners to those that are advanced. We want to hear from you if you are interested in joining this rapidly growing sport. If you are interested please contact Jessica who will be happy to help. She can answer any questions you may have regarding any aspect of the program, including training sessions, competitions, and what is right for you. For more information, please contact Jessica, or go to our ‘About Us' page, to see if your question is answered there.
